bassmansam
How does everyone post their effects pedals? I'm trying to find small boxes/tubs online which could be used or would it be OK to wrap in plenty of bubble wrap and use a padded envelope? uk_lefty
When I'm stuck for packing materials I try to cut some cardboard from something bigger and wrap it around the object. A layer of hubble wrap, some cardboard for a bit of extra protection, then a padded envelope, more bubblewrap or if I think I've done enough then one of those plastic postal bags you can get.
LeftyJ
I've kept the original boxes of all FX pedals that came in one. When I have to ship one, I just wrap the pedal in bubble wrap, put it in its box and wrap the whole thing in brown packing paper.
dudewheresmybass
I usually keep the boxes as well, but worth noting that boss pedals fit nicely into the mid sized Ferraro rocher boxes 😉👍
dave_bass5
I order stuff off Amazon that’s a similar size to what I want to post lol. Since leaving my job I too have found I’m lacking in the materials I had on tap before. I’ve sent a few pedals out wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap, and inside a postal bag. Seems to do the trick, even if they aren’t in any box.
adamg67
I stash useful packaging stuff in the loft, and go on a correct size box hunt up there when I need to post something. Obviously there never is one the right size but you can always do what Amazon do and use a huge box with 10 cubic metres of packaging instead.
