Tuck the transmitter in your pocket, when you take the bass off you find you're still attached - cue awkward overhead bass juggling.

Attach it to the strap securely enough and moving to another bass in a hurry becomes a pita.

Solution? Simples! 3M Dual Lock.

What solutions have you found after a ridiculously long time?

I bought another transmitter for my other gigging bass.

Uh huh, uh huh, this is also a solution. But not a cheap one!

Ok, clip on tuners haven't been around that long compared to how long I've been playing, but.........

Finally buying one clip-on tuner per instrument so I don't have to swap one around depending on where I'm going with which instrument.

Same for straps.

3M Dual Lock is not known for coming off that easily. I think I would be concerned about the finish on my basses. I tried to remove some from the back of a pedal I was selling and was a heck of job to get it off. Even when I did, it left a hefty bit of residue behind.

EDIT: Doesn't it get in the way when you're playing standing up? I think it would for me.

Well - I have a G70 as you seem to.

Then I looked at getting another transmitter and it was about £170 or something.

Then Andertons did the blowout on the G75 set for £149.99. So I bought that. Got another transmitter on the cheap and a spare base unit, albeit it the different shape.

Bargain!

Well, that's how I read it, for some reason. 😮

Houston, we have a problem. The love seat just blew up!

The audio exciter got audio over excited, overheated, melted the glue holding it together and prolapsed onto the floor.

Back as they say, to the drawing board.

@stewblack ,In spirit of lessons learned.......... please consider the position of your new innovation, and the fate of your previous innovation😕.
