tauzero
Some may recall the 15-string horror Tennessee that regularly appeared on Ebay. Some may have almost managed to forget it. It was a dreadful bastardised thing that started out as a 10-string. Well, in my research for Chodearodearas, aka Chinese Foderas, I found this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000165811793.html Who could resist a 17-string? binky_bass
Having owned a 'proper' 13 string bass, and knowing the difficulties of having a set of strings made that actually work for standard bass tuning, and looking at the strings on that heap-o-cràp, I do wonder what kind of tuning that thing is in or if its just a random assortment of 17 strings that vaguely look like they've been strung thickest to thinnest. nige1968
Yeah, but it goes up to 17. Alas, I like to fold my thumb round to get that low E flat, so I'm out until my thumbs grow some more.
