Spoombung
A great player. I know him best from his National Health and Collesseum recordings... which shows you how old I am...and how much older he is.... 1
bootleg
First became aware of Mr Murray with Colosseum II and National Health. Always amazed he joined Whitesnake. Shows his versatility.
police squad
Neil's a fab player. Groove and taste. Phil Hilbourne introduced me to him at a music show and he's very nice to boot. What's not to like
dmccombe7
Neil and Jack Bruce have been my most influential players over the years. Followed Neil from early Whitesnake years especially Ready And Willing era where it was Neil's bass sound that pushed me towards the Whitesnake albums. Also his work on the Cozy Powell solo albums Over the Top and Tilt showed his versatility for a different style and feel to the songs. My fav era was when he was using his Kramer DMZ 4000 bass which for me had a clear but full sound on the Whitesnake tours. Def comes across as a really nice guy. Simon.
First 'proper' gig I went to was Sabbath on the Headless Cross tour in 1989 (?), with Mr Murray on bass duties. Was an awesome night. 🤘
