DHA VT-1 Purist not powering up

Hey guys,

Just bought one of the above from here on BC and theres no power going into it. The light on the adapter is on but not in the pedal itself. on top of that, the signal chain is not broken if the bypass switch is clicked, something which all other pedals do if there is no power. Im not sure what to do, and im a novice on tubes.

Please help. Cant exactly ask Dave Hall as i didnt buy it from him.

hey there mark.
an iq test. the adaptor jack was the wrong way round. it sounds the absolute testicles. so happy. how was portugal?
