RoySkates Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Hi Everyone. Im new here... I am rebuilding a Hofner Artist solid bass from 1963. I have everthing except the scratchplate. Does anyone know where I can get one made ?. I would like to buy a one pickup version and another 2 pickup version. I am in the UK but Im happy to buy from anywhere. Im grateful for any help. ikay Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Might be worth having a chat with Alan at Project Guitar Parts ([email protected]). They have a lot of replacement parts for vintage Hofners. No pickguards for an Artist model on the site but they may be able to make you one or point you in the right direction.
