jrixn1 Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 I have one. I'm only going down one or two semitones and it tracks the notes fine, perhaps a very small amount of latency but nothing really noticeable. What I'm not sure about is that it changes the tone of the bass, makes it sound a bit metallic and increases the volume. I have not had any gigs recently but I could possibly see a use when playing live for the occasional times I am on a four-string but need to get down to a low Eb or D. Or I might sell it; I haven't decided yet. 1 Quote
bumnote Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 Iplay with a singer who sings a semitone down, I normally leave one bass set up permanently but I dont get to choose my bass. It might be a use when pl;aying along with records too I get a few days to try it with mail order so Im tempted to try one. Quote
karrlander Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 I have on. Currently only use it on one song with our cover band to get a low D but on those occasions it's a life saver. It changes the tone a bit but I can live with it and be happy without a 5 string. 1 Quote
