Duff Mckagan Sig copy build

I've always wanted a Duff Mckagan sig so I'm going to refinish my barncaster bass to look like one

The neck is already black so I just need to rout a cavity for a J pickup, paint the body pearl white (which I'm a bit nervous of as I've never painted a pearl finish so any advice gratefully received) and change the wiring a bit to accommodate the TBX tone control and a 3 way pickup selector switch

Hopefully it will end up looking something like this 🤞
