Phil Starr
I was really impressed with the video editing. Looking forward to hearing what the ports do to the sound.

Was just thinking initially of doing the easiest thing possible to start with! I’m not expecting miracles, just an improved low frequency. Measurements are 12cm x 30cm x 23.3cm, and there are ports (dammit) 2 x 4cm. Going to hook the amp up to something else to see what it sounds like.... Those are not ports, those are holes. 😊
barkin
They're ports alright, albeit not very long ones.
Pea Turgh
Potatoes, potahtoes, they’ll be longer tomorrow when I murder my pillow to stuff the cab with!
Bill Fitzmaurice
Don't literally stuff the cab. You do that with sealed cabs, but not with ported. Ported cabs are lined with damping material to reduce internal reflections. Sealed cabs are stuffed to both reduce internal reflections and to lower the speaker Q. You can find out what that means and a lot more here: https://www.ht-audio.com/pages/SpeakerBasics.html
