I won't embarrass myself by showing a picture of my metronome, but it's the sort individuals of a certain age might have seen on their grandparents' pianos!  In lock-down, I've been trying to teach myself Deantown, which requires a certain mastery of consistent 1/16 notes.  I find myself completely lost if I use said metronome, but there's a certain adrenaline rush when I play a long with the vid and/or a tutorial with the bass drum giving it some.  

Which is a convoluted way of asking basschatters whether they recommend an '808 esque' app (if such a thing exists on a phone) to emulate the poor person dribbling out of both sides of their mouth at once (at least if the phone is level)?

When I first saw this I thought you meant 808 synth and forgot about my 808 I used to have.

For a metronome there is one called MetroTimer

MetroTimer is a pure beep metronome

For an Bass 808 app Audiokit do a great one which is very very good and close to an 808, they ASO do a great synth app and have a range of products - you’ll like it
