Blimey that’s cheap, isn’t it? That has to be worth a punt at that price. If you didn’t go for it I’d be pretty tempted myself, although not being on Facebook would be problematic.

I will say that after listening to some 'Talking Bass' today, I think Mark Smith gets a good tone out of his, though I preferred the sound of his Ibanez SR with the P/J pickups. He is a fantastic player, his videos are great.

I share this opinion for sure.  The videos I have listened to, including the ones posted earlier in this thread, just sound so generic. Good imitations for sure, but seemingly with no unique character at all.  Since Sims released these as well, it has become pretty common place for companies to build humbuckers that can be wired however you want on 4 way rotary switches and the like.  Unless I am missing something, the only "unique" thing they do is the split coil option?
