yorks5stringer
Yes, I was thinking about changing all the knobs too but black screws are a bit "stealth" in that they mostly blend nicely into the Blackburst...
Lfalex v1.1
Yeah, but silver screws look garish and blingy on a (subtle) clear scratchplate. If it were white, then I guess silver would be the order of the day. If it were black, maybe either way. YMMV, naturally 😉 Edited December 3, 2020 by Lfalex v1.
yorks5stringer
Here we are with Black screws, although some look silver in the light!
PaulThePlug
Nice... I voted clear, and so did a few others... What do you think Yorks5? Happy with the look? Noting the Carbon neck 'n headstock, if it were a 'modern normal P body' and usuall pickguard would of suggested a Carbon or Carbon Wrap. LukeFRC
I approve of this thread! I’m looking for a P or PJ and when @AndyTravis stuck this on sale I had a few ppl suggesting it would be the best I would find... for me the look wasn’t what I was after.... but the clear guard really improve it. Gold Anodised aluminium would be worth photoshopping too.
