Well , anyone else tried one yet ?

Telecaster body and pickups with a lovely shortscale neck.

ive not had it long enough (nor am I good enough )to define the sound. BUT I love the look and the sounds I can get out of it with the supplied Rotosound strings. It sits nice and is a real looker to me .

Thank you for the offer, that's really kind. I've been planning to pop over Braysdown way and have a look, but desperately need to curb bass related spending.

Very nice! Also intrigued by David's T32 - Tele body, Gibson style 2 a side headstock, Rick style pickups.

I’ve got his 32 neck on a LP body. Very bass with flats.

Pickups are normal Telecaster 6 string.

Hmmm... Odd then, would have expected some kind of pickup replacement rather than a bass neck and bridge on a tele body.

I had a Retrovibe Tele a few years ago that I traded with someone from this site, was full scale with 2 mm humbuckers and a cracking birdseye maple neck, unfortunately it was slab bodied and killed my arm so I got rid of it, would have been a keeper if it wasnt for the sharp edges.

People have been buying the neck from David and a crazy low priced Tele from Thomann. Changing the neck and bridge, then putting the pieces together.

It looks OK but would it sound any good?

One guy who did it said on FB it sounded fine, but I haven't heard any sound samples.
