Wow, absolutely lovely. Ā I had one a few years ago and it was probably the nicest/best-playing J I've owned (and there have been many). Ā I just don't get on with the J body shape that well. Ā

Great playing necks on these if I remember correctly, it was the nicest bass I tried in a New york shop some years ago.

This is now really scary.Ā  I have a leftie one of these as well (albeit sunburst)!Ā  They are absolutely fantastic basses.Ā  To my ear the pick ups sound a bit more modern than CS basses.Ā  My one is really robust, doesn't ever really go out of tune.Ā

šŸ˜šŸ˜ very nice. Alas, Iā€™m about Ā£2k short with no gigs. These are fantastic basses though I loved my JO!Ā

This ad caused me to get my Leftie JO out and compare with my Fender CS Jazzes.Ā  I think the J/O is a real workhorse compared with the Fenders.Ā  It has what I think is a slab fret board,Ā  The neck is slimmer, but at the same time more stable.Ā  It sounds less vintage, but clear and full.Ā  Altogether these are brilliant basses and (if I were right handed) I would be all over this!

Is the color from the bass in real life more like the pictures outside or inside? The color looks much more beautiful for me outside.

The colour of the bass in real life is more like the pictures outside. The colour sparkles when there is a good light.

I've just been playing my own JO after some weeks of CS Jazz's and I still think these Laklands are better made basses with more attention to detail (other than artificial ageing).Ā  Have a bump!

This is a custom order Lakland right.?

Depends how you look at it. All Lakland US models are 'custom orders', but depends whether they built it directly for a customer, or perhaps a dealer.
I think nowadays they tend to just ship out their reduced-options 'Classic' US models to dealers, perhaps with the odd "Ltd colour' or whatever, but I imagine the full US customs make their way to dealers too.
