The musiczoo picture (bottom) is better. The CME red also looks much deeper and richer than the thomann pic.

So the two "blue" ones are supposed to be the same colour? Which is closest to the real thing? I like the second version and would be mightily disappointed if it turned up looking more like the first.

I don’t know - second version seems more like what I know to be Pelham.

That red in the CME picture looks lush too.

Thomann photos are generally, pretty ropey, to the extent they are underselling their wares IMO.

I’m not sure on that - I reckon it’ll be parchment/cream. The proof will be suing them in the flesh. Which I fear would see me with 2 jack casady basses in funky colours.

Pelham Blue is typically a rip off Lake Placid Blue. I’d say neither of those pictures is accurate to what the Gibson/Epiphone Pelham Blue finishes normally look like in the flesh. I agree. It’s always hailed as a special or limited finish, but I think it’s one of the worst!

Think it was “TV Pelham blue” where you could see the grain under the blue, they did a silver version too.

I think this “faded/aged” Pelham has a slightly greener Hue.
