Nothing sounds like an SD9, just don't turn the tone control above 10 o'clock! I don't know whether the JRC4558D chip does makes that much difference, but it is present and correct. Please note this is very much a guitar pedal - it is unlikely to retain enough low end in a bass guitar signal unless you are using some clever parallel distortion Royal-Blood-type setup. I have recently replaced all the electrolytic caps (which degrade with age and were causing a switching problem) and the battery connector, and the pedal is now fit for another 35 years of filthy fun. I am only selling this as lack of gig income has severely curtailed my fun money. Yours for £80 delivered mainland UK. At least until I change my mind...
