Can a bass with AI now be far away?

I am not sure about that, although my bass playing can sometimes be described as robotic. 😀 Does that count?

If by AI, you mean Artificial Insemination, then it may well be a cure for The GAS.  Before you know it you'll have lots of little basses just like @Jabba_the_gut's biting at your ankles.

Nah he's got a sense of humour so he'll be fine with a bit of joking i'm sure.

On a serious note tho a bass that learns your tone and automatically adjusts to suit every venue might be a good thing.

If its all the same to you ill stick to playing bass the old fashioned way.
