Can you 'unpost'

Question

I read the forum starting with the activity - things I follow or posted in.

Every time that 'in case you missed out thread' which I assumed I posted in back in the midst of times pops up in the way. Disproportionately irritating, I have unfollowed it but it is still there because of the post. I can't find it in the 'posts I follow' area (presumably as I don't follow it). Is there a way of ensuring it never appears again for me?

If you can find the post I can try deleting it and see if that works?
