Regular EMG PJ -v- GZR set.

I want to put some EMGs in my Ibanez Mezzo.

I’m a massive fan of the regular J pickup and like the P. So that was my automatic choice.

But now I’ve discovered the GZR set, has anyone used both and could describe the difference?

 

This bass is usually tuned to C regular and is used almost exclusively for recording. If that makes any difference.
