Met up with James in a supermarket car park in Yate, where he kindly gave me some money in exchange for an Ashdown ABM combo. We spent an hour chatting about all things bass, which felt like five minutes. 

Good chap to deal with, very straightforward and decent person.

Recently bought a valveless guitar amp chassis from James, Arrived quickly ,well packed.

Condition was far better than I was expecting , and, using the additional GZ34 he kindly included,

plus some valves I had lying around , soon had it up ,and running In fact , it was so quiet, I thought it wasn’t working .
