This is wonderful. Look how happy they are - especially John.

Made me quite emotional!

I know what you mean! I found it so uplifting watching that...

Really enjoyed that! I'm not a Beatles freak by any stretch, but that was great. Loved seeing them all just dicking about and having a laugh. Nice gear shots as well, Lennon's iconic Casino, Billy Preston on the silvertop Fender Rhodes and Ringo's Thermogloss maple Ludwig kit. Oh, and a Hofner bass as well 😎

We forget that back in the day, this was ground-breaking documentary footage.  Nowadays it's ALL about showbiz people making movies 'bout themselves (S. Dan).

Quite enjoyable, thank you.

PS:  I misquoted the Dan.  Correction below:

Show business kids making movies of themselves...

The bit where Lennon is crouching down with his knees tucked up in his t-shirt is great. Hope there’s more daft stuff like this in the documentary.

Well the documentary is going to be three 4-hour parts released at annual intervals, so there'll be plenty of time for Peter Jackson to show it.

Then five years later he will release a further three 4-hour films covering a 30-minute tea-break they once took.

They're all happy because they knew they wouldn't be getting on each others tits much longer.

In all seriousness, as a Beatles fan myself (and a fan of George Harrison in particular) I really enjoyed that.

Pure Magic!  I'm so glad I was a teenager in the 1960s when The Fab Four and Radio Caroline changed the music scene forever in the UK.  Loved the Beatles and still enjoy their early recordings.  I could never get away with Sergeant Pepper but prior to that they could do no wrong.  I shall look forward to the film.

It makes being in a band look like........er , I dunno....... fun!?

That came across to me too - something that is often missing in bands in more recent times. I think the ‘fun’ element of The Beatles was a large part of their appeal, certainly in their earlier years, and it’s great to see in the clip that even with all the strains within the band they still look like they’re enjoying each other’s company and want to be there.
