longtimefred
So my incredible other half surprised me on Christmas morning and gave me this incredible Sandberg that I had been drooling over since it landed at Bass Direct. I feel very very lucky indeed to have a girly that would do this and the fact that it is the best Sandberg I have ever played or owned. My older two (one I sold a while back) were the first generation ones and I had only played one of the second generation ones a few years back and had noticed the improvements they had made. Safe to say this thing has blown me away with how good it is and I love it to bits already. I just thought I would share some porn shots with you. My old TM2 is now hiding scared.

TheGreek
Looks amazing... You are, indeed, a very lucky boy to have a wife who buys you such great prezzies.... Check the car for scratches or expect a bill for some very expensive shoes and a handbag.😉 Edited December 26, 2020 by TheGreek
M@23
That’s class. Nice one to the Mrs! the 2nd gens are great, sleeker and more refined IMO

Deedee
Just out of interest, what changed with the 2nd gens, other than the shape? I had a beautiful Surf Green MkI with the Delano pickups, but hand positioning wise it felt awkward with the tight space between the reverse p and the MM. A minor issue I know, but one which bugged me.
longtimefred
The whole thing just feels better to be honest. Weight is at around 8.5lbs which is so good. The pickups are amazing which is a big plus as I ended up taking out the standard ones in my MK1 TM2. The setup on it is just perfect as well.
ead
Can I ask if your other half could talk to my other half about bass purchases please
longtimefred
No word of a lie, she just told me 10 minutes ago that it makes her happy seeing me happy with a bass guitar. If that is not a win in life then I don't know what is. 😂😂
Ramsay777
Damn I was eyeing this up when I first went on BD, it didn't stay on there long! I really prefer the look of the 2nd gen over the first ones, they've managed to do their own thing without getting weird Very cool man, you're very lucky indeed! bnt
Ooh, that’s lovely. This is the design that Harley Benton was “inspired by” for their Enhanced MP series, the one I got because I was cheap and looking for something I could mod. If I ever get gigging again, I can definitely see one of these in my future, maybe a 5-er in Greenburst. 😎
