Freddy4strings
Hi guys. I've just found this site and think it will be prove very useful to me over the years to come. I'm a totally new bass player, using a Squier Fender PJ bass & Rumble 15 amp and will have loads of questions to ask, as this is my first ever venture into the World of music !. I've a very dear windsurfing buddy to thank for introducing me to bass. Thanks Shaun.
Dad3353
Good evening, F4S, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share.
TheGreek
Welcome Freddy I've got a Squier PJ too - good bass for not many pennies. Lots to learn here, first lesson? Stay away from the "For sale" threads. I owned three basses when I joined - I've got a few more now...

Freddy4strings
Haha. Oh don't Eloo is god. Four strings is more than enough for my initial introduction into playing bass. (Still attempting to learn the fretboard and stop the flying fingers syndrome at the present). Suppose I could always ask admin if I could change my name by deed poll if necessary . Not that anyone on here would ever do that.
Freddy4strings
I'm on strict instructions by most of the online teachers not to put my tom thumb over the top. Have to keep it in the middle of the bass neck. Must admit though, that is causing some soreness in these initial stages.
