Question for Ampeg PF800 owners

I'm wondering if any owners of the Ampeg PF800 could help me out with a question for a friend of mine. He's not a member of Basschat, so I said I'd ask the audience for him

He owns an Ampeg PF800 which he really likes but has noticed that when he switches it off at the back, it can take 5-10 seconds for the amp to actually turn off. I've experienced the same with valve amps but never a Class D.

Is this something that other PF800 owners have noticed at all?
