So, it’s one of those grail amps; the AD200B. I won’t explain the specs behind it, because the Orange website will do it far better than I can.

This one was UK made, in 2008. It was owned from 2008-2018 by the Canadian band; Cancer Bats. It was their EU touring rig, and lived in the U.K. and was used by them heavily during that period. They (being good Canadians) also lent it out to a few Canadian bands who came over for EU tours (PUP to name but one).

At the tail end of 2018, Cancer Bats swapped to the Orange OB1 for ease and this AD200B became surplus. I bought it from their EU tour manager, who’d been keeping it on their behalf.

Living such a lifestyle meant that the amp picked up quite a bit of mojo, but it was recently professionally serviced by my local valve amp repair centre and given a clean bill of health. So while it may look a tad worn on the outside, internally it’s all good!

This was an impulse purchase for me. I’d been planning to open a music venue last year, and I bought this with the intention it would have become the house bass amp. Alas, coronavirus hit and it’s safe to say I won’t be able to make my venue dream come true any time soon as a result. As such, time to face reality and shift it.

A google search shows that the price for one of these new is currently about £1500-1700 depending on the retailer. You also get the custom fit wheeled flightcase (in matching orange obviously), which would cost about £300 on its own, making it about a £1800-2000 package.

I am asking for £900  £600. What a steal right?
Collection from Surrey, or I meet you somewhere around the M25 or south east.

Are you looking for trades or is it just for sale only

Cheers

I’d consider a trade but I’m not after anything specific. I suppose I could be tempted by something special though

Price dropped to £825.

I would consider a part-ex with a small cab I can use with my other head for home practice.

Still for sale. Entertaining offers.

I will additionally be listing a bunch of additional guitar, bass, and PA goodies over the next couple of days.

Additionally, the 8x10 pictured on one of the updates (which came from Cancer Bats too) is now also available. Will be listing it separately but feel free to include it in offers.

The price for these new has gone up making this £700 deal even better! And yet, no serious offers in over a year of being listed here.. :(

It's good value. I had to hold off last year but I've just put a bass up for sale to fund an AD200. I'll be in touch soon hopefully.

If you sell the Jag to buy a m/c there'll be plenty left over.

Still available. I cannot post/courier this, but can meet in the South East.

I also have an SVT-2 PRO listed on here. Whichever sells first, I’ll keep the other.

Could swap a Barefaced 210 - but it isn't the switch one.

I’ve picked up a super twin now so no longer looking for a swap I’m afraid.
