White Cloud
Fellow bass chatters, I have a TC Electronic BG250 head rated at 4ohms - will it be compatible with the TC Electronic Bc208 cab which is stipulated as 8ohms? Thanks in advance! 🙂
BassAdder60
You can run an 8 ohm cab without any worries as long as the cab can handle the amp watts. Your BG250 head can only provide 250w into a 4 ohm speaker load so with your 8 ohm cab you will get around 125W approx from the head. barkin
Yes. 4 Ohms is the minimum. More than 4 is fine - just won't put out full power, probably 170 or so into an 8 Ohm load.

BassmanPaul
Just to make it clear you can connect two of your specified speaker cabinets to your amp safely.
