lee650 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 (edited) Up for sale, is my fantastic Yamaha TRB1005, 5 string bass in translucent Black. Features an Alder body with a Quilted maple top and some beautiful contouring on the body. It has a 35" scale neck and two huncancelling single coils with a three band EQ, bass weighs 10lbs. This is one of the earlier Korean models which has better pickups/preamp and hardware than the later Indonesean 1005J models. It's a very rock and roll looking bass,with its stealth like look. sonically this bass is capable of any style of music. It has a very clear Hifi tone,and a very tight and defined B string, absolutely great for Metal 😂 It's seen a few gigs and has plenty of mojo. The only really obvious mark is quite a big scratch,where the B strings goes into the bridge (see photo),but works perfectly and has a nice low action. To be transparent! a hinge has gone missing in the battery compartment,however it doesn't move and has caused no issues. It does not have a case,however it will be boxed securely and thoroughly cleaned prior to dispatch via courier.
