This is a really nice pedal, up there with the best when it comes to one-knob comps.

There are various factors in how a compressor behaves, but the preset values on this are really very good for plug-and-play with musical instruments. Ease the compression up until you hear/feel something happening, then back it off a touch- voila, transparent smoothing compression with enough attack to stay lively, or to emphasise the front end of plectrum playing.

Comes boxed, with instruction sheet and Rothwell sticker, and has extra grippy feet.

Postage on pedals may have gone up a few pence with the new year, but was £3.70 before- I'll take one down for an exact quote before too long!
