Better dimensions than the MB for one thing and handle any and every thing I can throw at them. But the ny151s just had a certain character to the sound which I liked. 1 Quote
BassAdder60 Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 I ordered the RokSak Large bag from Bass Direct £34 delivered Fits the RM800 very well with a little space at the end and zipped pockets for cables Quote
javi_bassist Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I have a question for the RM EVO II users. Just curious actually. Does the Output knob has "positions" like the EVO I or is it linear (like any ABM)? Quote

BassAdder60 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Yes it has positions 👍 Good feature Quote

Odd how these little things either niggle or add a little something isn't it? I quite like it too, now I come to think of it. But I don't actually know why! It's probably just a response to a tactile sensation. Quote

Yeah I know, it's just such a small thing! I don't like being forced to set the knob in a particular position, however miniscule. It certainly won't stop me from using the amp at every opportunity mind! 2 Quote
lou24d53 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Anyone interested, I've just had an email from Ashdown to tell me that the RM gig bags are now back in stock, at £49.99 with an additional £8.00 delivery. Note though, they are £7.99 cheaper from GAK, albeit still not showing in stock. Quote
nikon F Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 ashdown have got the RM 800 b stock for £367 delivered. sounds like a reasonable price to me . 1 Quote
BassAdder60 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Yep it’s the old version RM800 but still a decent price Quote

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, I’ve got the RM500 , they have a full range of tones from heavy deep dubby bass to bright funk, the shape button also adds more to that, they are also surprisingly powerful 🙂 Quote
FinnDave Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 I've got an RM 800 head, can't remember what evo number and it's on the other side of the room with a cover over it - far too difficult to check! I use mine with a Barefaced Super Compact, works well for most gigs. I have a Trace Elliot Elf in my bag as a backup which I also use for small gigs (even less to carry). Quote
BassAdder60 Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 If the top on the RM800 is black it’s first generation.. if it’s silver / grey it’s the current production EVO II Quote
lou24d53 Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 I know roughly where they were set, but I had my settings set perfectly where I wanted them on my RM800...only for my three year old to come into the room yesterday when I'm not in and fire everything up to 100%...🙈😂 1 Quote
