claustra
This rings a bell. I have 2 young kids now and I grew up with - among many other styles - early Metallica riffs & breaks, 90s Prong, and little bit of Godflesh. The synth drum kits can be charming. I'd get the bass higher in the mix, though

Consultation took place and advice was given, whether clients take the advice delivered has no bearing on Stewblack.

naxos10
I liked it Stew although being from a prog rock music background in my teens I was expecting a keyboard or acoustic guitar break about a third in. Excellent musicianship by the way and well worth the consultancy fee.

StickyDBRmf
It was better that most of the Stickists I so graciously follow..."Bass Consultant", eh? Nice work if you can get it...
Pseudonym
I just listened to it. At this point, it strikes me as a very promising, rather too abbreviated foundation that could be developed very nicely. I wonder what would happen if he listened to this with the ears of a producer? A bit like seeing a good sketch or maquette in an artist's studio: pleasing on its own merits, but also intriguing in its possibilities. As with any work that has potential, going further does involve some regrouping, but I'd say this is worth the effort. You're a good chap, Stew.
