This raffle is available worldwide with shipping included. jrixn1
No doubt run in good faith, but they should confirm if it's legal etc as there are various rules. E.g. "people can genuinely choose to take part without paying" https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/for-the-public/Safer-gambling/Consumer-guides/Running-prize-competitions-and-free-draws.aspx

They are running it to benefit a registered charity so they should be ok. Fairly sure if it's run online they need to register with their local authority. Could easily be wrong though. Tempting to enter regardless.
Matt P
i saw this last night, from what i could see it is clearly advertised as a raffle for a charity, I hope it is all above board as i bought 2 tickets! Matt
peteb
If Chris is involved I'm sure that it will be kosher! I bought a couple of tickets last night.

I don't think you need a license either, unless it reaches a Threshold, which is definitely some way above what Chris will get here. Have full faith that Alpher will know exactly what they are doing Edited January 14, 2021 by Kev

I'd exercise caution of social media lotteries as it's too easy for the less-scrupulous organiser to skim or fix. Clearly not the case here though; good to see many vouching for Alpher, and best of luck to all entering the draw.
