Roundwound strings for a Mustang Bass- Suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions for a set of roundwound strings for a string through body 30" scale bass? I am really not a fan of D'Addario as such as I generally find them quite high tension (my preferred round wounds are Ernie Ball 45-100's) but will be grateful for any other suggestions.

This. My choice would be a four-string set based on their Axion Bass VI strings.

I have a set of regular 34” scale GHS string on, think they’re 40-100, and they feel and sound fine. Maybe try an old set, the tension might be just fine.

Another recommendation here for Newtone strings. I have them fitted to 3 of my short scale basses (only 3 because the 4th is a Hofner Club😀).

I use bog standard Fender 7250M's on my through body Mustang- I guess you could use 7250ML's if you wanted a slightly lighter guage. 

They don't have any cloth windings so there's no issues at the bridge or the headstock end - plus they're relatively cheap and easy to find.

If you like E.B., stick with them:

A 0.1" fourth string might be too low of tension if you down-tune to Drop-D, especially in comparison to the other strings.
