Can I just say a huge thank you to all the people who have donated stuff to me for my building guitars and basses for schools and disabled kids. It really is appreciated.

Thanks to all of you once again

This thread is useless without a shopping list of needs and want for said project.

It was just a thank you to those who had given me stuff. I put the OP in the wanted section last week

Cheers Owen and thanks for putting the link in. I wasn’t sure if I should so I decided not to

We all love to help the bass!

I honestly don’t know how that would work with PAT testing etc and if schools could even accept used amplification stuff as it has to be plugged into the mains. I’ve given a few practice amps away in the past but that’s just to disabled to kids and not schools

I'll have a rummage. What about speaker cabs? You need amplification too?

I am going to ask about this when I can get in touch with one of the teachers I have oven stuff to but obviously he is not contactable at the moment

This is what can be achieved when generous people donate stuff. Thanks you so much to all of you.

Oooh how much do you want for it? 😁

Seriously though, that is a stunner, my favorite combo for a Precision.

Well done everyone who's donated parts and particularly well done to you Jon for taking the time to do this.

🙂👍

Yep, it's a pretty good place for this.

I put out a shout for bits and bobs a few years ago as I was repairing my local schools' basses and guitars. I received more than enough. Great stuff it was as well.

This is the Shell Pink one all painted and cavities all covered with copper tape ready to have Pickguard and pickups and loom put in tomorrow. I got a loom and pickups from a Harley Benton P bass on here last week for £18 which will do for this. It’s a mahogany body but it’s no weight at all so I will make sure it is for a younger kid.
When I get a suitable neck it’s another one ready to go

The bridge and Pickguard that will be used for this one were amongst the box of bits donated by @Shepster8316 a top bloke 👍👍👍👍

Good to hear it's working out.  I saw your WTB but obviously didn't read it properly as I didn't know you were after guitar parts as well as bass - I noticed 'guitar' in your first post in this thread, though. I will have a dig about and should have some stuff you can have.
