Why does this feel less like bring attention to an interesting thread, and more like rounding up recruits for the commune?

😄

I love my Longhorn. A reissue w/ the wooden bridge, tiny plastic tuners that feel like they're gonna snap off any minute, (yet don't), wood screw height adjustments, really cool tweed gigbag all fer I think, $159US? My only shortscale, but I can rip on it, & it's got those lipsticks and everyone wants to grab it and have a go . Lipsticks are a little noisy 'cause they're single coil, but I'm not gonna carp about it...

My pick would be the Epiphone Embassy out of that list. Nice looking, decent spec, good Thunderbird alternative. IIMO Epiphone out classes Squier for general quality.

Plus one for Peavey, so well built, first CNC manufactured if I'm right?  Have two - 1992 USA build Fury......as good as any Fender P that I have played......also the DE Scorpio......150 quidish,  with hard case, excellent value IMO
