When was the last time you saw such nice wood combination in a G&L SB2 (USA)?

Maple Neck...

Maple FB...

2-piece Ash Body...

Take-it-while-it’s-still-available bump 😁

For those who asked... I hope this will make you decide. 😁

I uploaded a bass demo of this SB-2 in YouTube. Check the description and click on the timeline hyperlink for each of the 9 settings I included.

Bass demo link HERE.

Great demo - in that it really gives a feel of what the bass sounds like

Weight please?

Just an update...

Here are my latest weight measurements using our bathroom scales:

19.6 lbs (8.89 Kg) combined weight of the bass and the case

8.4 lbs (3.81 Kg) weight of just the bass alone

I cannot believe this cool bass still hasn't been snatched up. Made in SoCal, in great condition, at a fair price, and with the tone control that some people miss on the SB-2. The jazz nut width is the only thing keeping me from buying this amazing bass myself.

Absolute bargain, if this had an F on the headstock it would be twice the price and half the bass!

I can’t believe this is still here, these are great sounding and playing instruments, if I didn’t have 2 already I would have snapped this up

RETRACTED — I plan to keep this bass for now.

Thanks, BCers. 👍
