garbev Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) Hi All, I'm selling my Marty Siggery 5 string, I'm the second owner, the guy who commissioned it is obviously a Sadowsky M5 24 fan...who isn't. Marty's a excellent luthier based in Kent. The quality of his work, choice of woods and hardware is terrific, Google him, well worth a look. The Roadbass is his top of the line model, original price was around £1500 for this example. I bought off Ebay around 6 months ago, had it set up and rewired, it's passive with a series/parallel/single coil switch for each p/up. Had a bart pre in it for a while but I prefer the sound with just the switching options, these pups are certainly not "dark" sounding, great range of very "musical" tones. I'm selling it because a bass I've after for around a year has become available, and it's not cheap! Pedulla's rarely are. The bass is in superb condition, no dings to report. Anyhow..Bass Spec: Alder body with a 1/4 inch figured maple cap. Maple neck 35" scale, 24 fret maple fingerboard, figured maple Headstock. Bartolini usa CB soapbars. Abm bridge, 19mm spacing. Hipshot Ultralight tuners. Abs case included. Pix: I'm asking £600 plus P&P for this beauty, I'm sure if Marty was better known it would be more. I'm in South Wales, any trials are most welcome, so is a 'halfway' meetup. Thanks, Gary. Edited March 21, 2009 by garbev
