I didn't notice that to be honest, I was too busy checking out my reflection in the jack plate. I'm guessing that's what he means by "replaced pick up" as the pickups look genuine, but the jack plate is a new piece of mirrored acrylic. 

It's still got the headstock badge though, they've usually fallen out by now, although it's been out as it's in on the wonk.

I had one in the mid noughties.  Sold it for £180.  And it had a NOS perspex bridge that I managed to track down.  :(

Yes a grand is out of my range, especially as it's been varnished by his Dad or something. 

But I'd be happy to £180. 😁

But the you can get it refinished in a colour you like without feeling guilty.

Don't think I haven't thought about it. 

If I were to get one I'd prefer an original white one though, so that the finish had the same amount of aging as the neck and hardware.
