Hello

For my first post on this forum i got a quite unusual question for you all.

I m now building up a rack and looking for a Powerconditioner. Everybody know furman of course but i find the price a bit high for what it does and i actually can t find anyone second hand.

My question is: do you know any other brand that could propose the same kind of thing but for cheaper.

I want my rack to be protected regarding high amp and volts, having some lights at the front, erasing the various buzz that comes from electric circuits and beiing able to plug 8 to 10 devices into it.

As an exemple i founded this one:

Phonic PPC 9000 E >> 58 £

* 10 switched outlets on the rear of the unit
* Single, unswitched outlet on the front
* Two swiveling light fixtures with dimmer switch for rack illumination
* RFI / EMI filtering
* Circuit Breaker with 10 amp rating
* Heavy-duty 14-gauge AC power cord
* Triple-mode Varistor spike and surge protection
* 20-segment, line Voltage meter reading from 180 to 256 VAC
* 12 Volts BNC gooseneck lamp jack

What do you think of it and do you have in mind any other references that might fit my needs ? :)

thanks in advances

The Phonic 8000E will do most bass racks with one or two power amps unless you plan to use one for a 12U rack of power amps or lights.
Also, unless you have a stigma about brands, this or a behringer should do the job. I have used various types, DOD, DBX etc.

PM me if you really want a Furman but it will not be £50.

I think I only paid £25 for mine years ago cause the guy I brought it off had 4or 5 of them from doing raves and partys off generators.
