4000
Phil Collins. Buddy Rich (I’d be very scared😂). Ian Paice. Mick Fleetwood. Bill Bruford, although I think he’d have got on my nerves. Would have liked to have played with Gerry Conway in Fotheringay as that would have meant I would have been in the same band as Sandy Denny and I could’ve died happy (I suppose that also applies to Mick & Stevie). Billy Cobham.

Steve Jordan, Jojo Mayer Brain (Brian Mantia) Sput (Robert Seawright) I did think of Brian "The Brain" Mantia, and Tim Alexander (the other Primus drummer) And I'll add another; Pat Mastelotto. Awesome drummer. Edited February 17, 2021 by Lfalex v1.1 Auto correct!

Awesome drummer. I really love the funkiness of Brain's playing with Primus, as much as I love Tim's playing also he is much more linear. But then Brain can rock it up with the best of them too. musicbassman
Jojo Mayer's already been mentioned, but absolutely agree. And a big shout for Khruangbin's human metronome, Donald "DJ" Johnson 👍
Doctor J
Ah here, since everybody is adding loads, I'll stick with Chamberlin and add: Sean Reinert - the finest drummer I was ever privileged to see perform and young Eloy from Sepultura, who is redefining drumming in Metal music
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
It would have to be Roland, alesis or linn . Yes drum machines , so they wouldn't swear at me or throw their sticks at me Then again , the drummer at the wrong gig would probably be my choice ..

For me, I'll add Billy Rymer from The Dillinger Escape Plan - you can see him playing through Prancer at the start of this video
