4000 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 (edited) I used to play the B Quad 4 they had in the Gallery every time I went down, many years back. Sublime neck - even though I don’t normally like a Jazz taper - looked great, reasonably light too. Didn’t like? For me the severe forearm contour was an absolute killer, and I didn’t really like the tone that much (that goes for most carbon fibre-necked basses though). It was ok fingerstyle but I really didn’t like it with a pick. Didn’t get on with the piezos either, but again I never really do. They were sooo harsh. Edited August 31, 2021 by 4000 Quote
Bilbo Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I just got one of the 4-strings and I love it. It just sings and plays like a dream. I may get the five one day but, yes, these are lovely basses. I think I prefer passive basses now, too. 3 Quote

I have to say that its one of the best "feeling" basses Ive ever played. Its definately a Bass player's Bass. No fancy electrics but everything else about it is quality. As he puts it "‘Its a beautiful representation of nothing special’. Any thoughts? Anyone had/got one? I would appear to be the owner of this very bass now. Quote
