Hello bass world

Hi fellow lovers of low frequency waves.

I’m Pete, from Ireland. Joined today after spending a lot of time reading all the helpful info.

I’m a hobbyist bass and guitar player. Been playing bass on and off for five years and guitar for three. Bit into it all. I’ve bought and sold over thirty guitars in that time and a number of basses.

I’m rocking a new to me 1993 Sr800. First bass I’ve had that did the trick. Had a crappy sx jazzer first. And Ibby Ergodyne (didn’t like it much at all) and an Ibby Sr300 that didn’t speak to me either.

Six strings I have a vester tradition 57 strat and a seagull s6 and a USA Martin 000x1.

love old mojo guitars with battle scars and well used wood.

Here’s a pic to introduce the bass. Used a pot scrubber on the neck to make it satin instead of sticky gloss and could not be happier.

nice to say hi to you all and lookIng forward to much bass.

Thanks for the welcomes and Dubby greeting Reggabass.

Not being much of an expert on bass I’m hoping I can answer some questions on Mac tech so I’m of some use to the forum.

literally the first forum I’ve joined. Will try to stay away from tone wood conversations though. They seem to be the only heated ones on here.

Here’s a bass on a train just to get a Friday going.
