A few more pics from the body luthier.

A walnut nut for the babinga neck.

Control cavity route and wire chases.

Control cavity cover...it was an afterthought and not planned out to use a better matching wood grain.  Oh well.

The finish could be started today...according to him.

No problem,  I’m making this similar to my other main player. Wired stereo with tapped PU’s with  3-way switches.

Received today.  It looks gorgeous!

I started the assembly process.  I had to plug the holes in the neck from my test fit on another bass.

I installed the bridge and ground wire and I’m waiting on the glue to set up on the neck holes.  Shielding is  next.

I’m  very happy so far. The babinga neck looks great with the walnut.

My lighting for the pictures is terrible...sorry.
