No gigs, but a steadily-increasing amount of faffing around in the studio leads inevitably to NMD = New Mic Day.

I have a couple of cheap (£100) condensers but I reckoned it was time to push the boat out a bit, and I settled on the Lauten LA320: https://www.lautenaudio.com/la-320
