Ricky 4000 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 (edited) Randomly, I have Nathan East's, and Brian Setzer's. I bet some of us on here have a much larger collection than me? 🙂 Edited February 21, 2021 by Ricky 4000 Quote
Raymondo Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I don't even have one of my own. It's true! 3 Quote

casapete Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I had a plectrum given to me by Scotty Moore (Elvis etc) that he gave me at a guitar show in Dallas. I gave it to my mate who was a massive Scotty fan, along with a signed Scotty photo that he gave me to give to my mate too. 3 Quote
Cuzzie Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Fishbone drummer - which says fish sticks with their band logo - it’s great - about 30 years old now 1 Quote
Cuzzie Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I do have a pick from our very own @12stringbassist 1 Quote
SH73 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Caught Nicko's drum stick in 2013, always hoped for Steve's wrist sweatband. 2 Quote

It bounced off me and landed several rows back. 1 Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 (edited) LOL I've got a large collection of picks from instrument and accessory makers - Orange, Celestion, Warwick, etc. - collected at various NAMMs, LBGSs and similar, but as far as I can see in my stash here, the only 'personal' plectrums I've got are one with Jason Scheff's website printed on, and some my ex (a guitarist) left in my collection. I do have a couple of Basschat picks (with the old logo*) and some picks with names that are no longer around (for instance, Guitar-X, where I did my first bass 1-2-1 course, has changed name at least twice since). * a few of you should have some too; @TheGreek had some customised ones made for me to give away at a couple of bashes and LBGSs (which I did). SpondonBassed Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 (edited) What's a "pluctrum"? Edited February 21, 2021 by SpondonBassed 2 1 Quote
verb Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I did have one of James Hetfield's but it's long gone, and I did catch one of Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez' picks but gave it to the youngster I was with as they collected stuff like that. Not a plectrum, but at a Soundgarden gig Ben Shephard took off his bass during the last song and gave it to a member of the audience. Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 One of my female friends still has a pick she was given by Yngwie Malmsteen something like 30 years ago at a gig, which she had made into a pendant with a silver chain. Class. 👍 1 Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Geezer Butler, Rex Brown, Dimebag. Oh, and I was once given a tin at the LBGS full of picks with Ernie Ball's name on them 😆 1 2 Quote

oldslapper Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I caught something off a famous singers backing vocalist once back in the early 80’s (.77mm I reckon ) , I don’t have them anymore does that count? 2 1 Quote

AndyTravis Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Jeff Buckley’s. Given to me by his (former) manager. Apparently used at his final gig. Got it while fixing some stuff for Michael Tighe who was in a band called The A.M. after Buckley’s death. Oh well...no clue where it is currently. 1 Quote
