Having fought the urge to go all Del Boy and try and win and part this out...

 

Not Ebay but these guys have regular instrument sales, this time round they seem to have 5 or 6 lots of Alembic bridges, I wonder where the rest if the basses went?

Oh for sure, from previous experience you're usually adding 30%+ to the hammer price, plus shipping if you;re not close by

I had a tentative go for the Alembic, it went for a bit more than I wanted to pay. It's one well-travelled bass - America, New Zealand, UK - see http://alembic.com/club/messages/411/25827.html?1341369299. £2750 including buyer's fee, a bit under market value. The Sei Flamboyant 5 for £1250 inc was a bargain, didn't go for it as I've already got enough Seis.
