BadHands
Hi all! Thinking of making a video comparing/combining envelope filters. What would you say are the top 4 of all time (Not just personal preference), associated with the bass? Thanks in advance, Chris

uk_lefty
DOD FX25B, purely because of the Flea master session video.

I tend to prefer a band pass filter for their squelchy response when driven hard.

Japhet
Of the ones I've had, the Aguilar Filter Twin was my favorite.

dannybuoy
Mutron III is legendary so should be on the list. The Source Audio Spectrum tries to copy it, so it would be good to see more examples of how close it can get. The Fwonkbeta is the best envelope filter in the universe*, so should also make the cut. * IMHO

Do you prefer it to the 3 Leaf kit? I'd take both my GR2 and Proton Mk4 over the Fwonkbeta, as very good as that is.

I haven’t tried the Chromatron or the very latest Proton though...

By mistake. And could never find that sound again. Nevermind I sold it for 3 x what I paid.
