Denon D-M41DAB  Aux in no ground

Turntable, which as a built in preamp which has a ground connector, but not used this as now hum or anything   https://www.audio-technica.com/en-gb/turntables/best-for/step-up-models/at-lp120xusb

Just had a quick browse .  I assume you've adjusted the phono / line selected on your turntable a couple of times . ( Best done at low volume ) .
A phono preamp will do the job .  Once you have that, you're all set .

Some Direct Drive Audio Technica turntables have an adjustable pre-amp. Is there a switch at the back..? If going into a 'Line' input, the 'Line' switch position should do the job. If there's no such switch, the turntable probably has a 'Phono' output, which needs either the 'Phono' input of your amp, or a separate pre-amp (for boosting and for RIAA EQ correction, as mentioned above...).
