Well I have looked and indeed you make a case for it but Lovebites areĀ too soberly dressed compared to visual kei bands, which hark back toĀ UK 70s glam,Ā 80s New Romantic and hair metal looks. Lovebites aren'tĀ mentioned anywhere as being visual kei so I can rest easy.š Quote

As I've said metal isn't really my bag but I can make an exception for these Japanese, all-girl metal bands as they're a refreshing change from the usual metal/hard rock fare. Plus AFAIK visual kei bands don't tend tag themselves as 'all-female', they tend to not mention gender, or they give a nod to their kabuki theater influences. B. Versailles are great! Discovered them 2 or 3 years ago. Not a massive fan of Kamijo'sĀ vox, but the playing is superb.Ā The fact that Hizaki wears a dress really doesn't affect my appreciation of the music.
