Bass Culture
Having been impressed by a great number of the demo vids a lot of you good people having recorded over the years, I have undertaken to do one for my Zoot ZB-1000 when it's delivered - it seems the least I can do is return the compliment when a few have asked to hear it. So, what do you record into, programme-wise? Preferably something I can add titles with so I can explain in writing different pickup settings etc. I already have a Tascam audio interface and Red 5 studio condenser mic for the audio side of things. Any pointers would be much appreciated. I have recorded into Zoom but I don't know if that lets me me edit the files afterwards. Don't know if it's relevant but I have both a PC and a Macbook. Thanks. Edited March 3, 2021 by Bass Culture
Dad3353
I've used several; lately I've preferred a simple enough, basic one called Shotcut, which has an added benefit of being Open Source, and so free. I have also used Resolve (also free...), which seems more complex, although very powerful. Worth a look..?

Happy Jack
I started using Reaper from a standing start in mid Movember. These two videos (both songs are originals) have been released in March, i.e. in the last two weeks:

thebrig
I have a MacBook Pro with Final Cut and iMovie installed, which I use for video effects like titles and transitions etc, but when it comes to syncing audio to the videos, I now only use Reaper because it is so precise, I find that Final Cut and iMovie tends to snap a fraction either side of where you want it, even if I'm zoomed in as far as I can go.
