andyonbass
Anyone using a tuner app on their iPhone? Thought it might be handy for home use when I forget to bring the polytune in from the studio..... Be nice if it could pick up a low B but could probably get by with harmonics Any suggestions?
Stingray5
Two tuner apps I've used are Pitch Lab and the Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner. Both work well for me. (The TU-3 is my current tuner app).
uk_lefty
Also using the Boss. Have used it on gigs where stage space meant there was no room for pedals in front of my size 8s. It does the job and its handy in music shops when you don't want to look like a fool asking for a tuner.
Maude
Yup, another Boss user here. Works well but the main reason is looks just like the pedal. Shallow? Moi? 😉
binky_bass
Boss here too. Had it for a few years and it's a pretty solid app!

Pea Turgh
I had been using Guitar Tuna. Now I have also downloaded the Boss app 😂 Just hope I don’t start trying to stand on my smart phone...
Maude
I can't remember now as I've had it (Boss app) so long, but I've a feeling I may have turned the sensitivity down a touch to stop it jumping about quite so much. Another one use for adjusting intonation at home which is very good, if a touch manic to look at is the 'Tuner Time' strobe app by Galexand. I find it very accurate for an app but nowhere near as simple as the Boss one.
Hellzero
I'm a big fan of the Peterson tuner app iStroboSoft, available for iOS or Android. Not free, but worth every penny : https://www.petersontuners.com/products/istrobosoft/

To be fair, at the moment, the Boss tuner app does the job for me.
Rich
I've just downloaded the Boss one. Not used it yet but it looks cool.

It does look good, but none of the buttons are 'pressable' Seemed to work OK on an acoustic instument.
